The popular Halley Ltd. produced ultralight family expanded by one autogiro, called APOLLO GYRO type AG1.

The rotor is made of aluminum alloy. The trike is built of high strength welded steel frame, fiberglass composite streamline housing, two-seat, one behind the other, with dual control system. Both seats are comfortable, spacious, good view for the pilot and for the passenger as well as for the instructor pilot. Well-arranged instrument panel, controls and handles are easily accessible. The main landing gear is made of aluminum leaf spring suspension, disc brakes, and wheels with wheelpants.

The Halley Ltd, producer of Apollo ULs has more than 30 years of experience of aircraft manufacturing and their gyroplane also not the product of the new millennium. Zoltan Molnar together with Albert Bajza produced their first autogiro in 1975. It was a B8M Benson. One (Czech) Slovak pilot testflew it in Poroszló region. Since the aircraft and gyro type flying machines could not be privately owned at the time, as opposed to the powered hang gliders, so the gyro production did not start.
