gb Lex and Luke fly to Wales

by Alexis Roxburgh
Qualified Pilot

Luke's brother lives on the England/Wales border. He asked me (tongue in cheek) if I could fly him there in my new gyro as they were going wild camping in the Black Mountains. Two days later, after no reply from me because I was keeping an eye on the forecast, he sent a message that said "I guess that's a no then", but we were very much on. We crammed in his camping gear (albeit minus one set of clothes he had hoped to take!) and off we went from Popham to Abergavenny.

My landings are generally less bouncy since this flight in October 2017!
