Since Elliot took over as custodian of the Wallis Heritage Collection, he has at great expense to himself put all of “Ken’s Girls” back to nice to view condition. As a trustee myself along with Andy Jones we have been trying to “hook him” with the gyro bug. We all know how infectious that is. Well Saturday morning 15th August 2026 Elliot brought his wife and daughter to Graveley. (That’s where GPAFF lives) and I managed to get him in her for a little local flight. I think it did the trick although I’m pretty sure he’s a side by side enclosed cockpit kind of guy. Coincidentally, Hannah his wife had booked through Virgin Experiences a gyro flight in a Cavalon with Kai Maurer at Rochester. They went and he did this on the Monday. Can’t wait to hear how that went.
